Pleasant View began as a rest home for ailing elders. The founders, who shared a strong commitment to Christian ministry and its related kindness, created a culture that has infused our nursing care for more than 55 years.
Pleasant View staff embraces the PersonFirst™ philosophy, which shifts the familiar task-directed medical model to a care model that places the resident front and center. Rest comfortably with the assurance our staff will develop a care plan for your loved one with keen attention to his or her needs and preferences.
Residents requiring nursing care may stay at Pleasant View for short-term therapy and rehabilitation with the goal of returning home, or may become permanent residents receiving continuous nursing care. Residents who require nursing care and are also diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related conditions live in our secure Rainbow Terrace neighborhood.
Elders living in our nursing care neighborhoods enjoy nutritious, tasty meals, and participate in mind-stimulating activities designed to improve physical functioning. Community circles that include residents, their families and friends, and staff heighten the sense of neighborliness with lively conversation and group singing. Experience Pleasant View by calling Vicky Jenkins for admission information and a tour.
