Afraid to say the wrong thing? Concerned about racial division?
Learn 5 steps to an effective conversation that leaves you connected, clear and confident. If you’re ready to stop tiptoeing around and have a voice for racial justice and diversity, come to this interactive and informative presentation.
Suppose the key to a conversation is not in what you say but how you listen? If you’ve gotten your voiced knocked out of you or found yourself unable to express yourself, come to learn Dr. Kemp’s 5 steps.
Dr. Amanda Kemp is a racial justice and mindfulness mentor who helps leaders, people of faith and educators gain confidence and competence in creating Beloved Community. The author of Say the Wrong Thing: Stories and Strategies for Racial Justice and Authentic Community, Dr. Kemp is a Visiting Scholar at Franklin & Marshall College. She will share her Racial Justice from the H.E.A.R.T. system that helps people to listen and speak from the heart, uncover their racial blindspots, and help build more inclusive and loving communities.
